Wednesday, 2006 04 26. -1C. Sunny. Wind: 15km/h SW.
I had not brought my blocknote with me this morning. A pain to my back prevents me from transporting too much things with me. Only my S2 + 4 rechargeable batteries + a water bottle.
I had not seen the small foxes for twelve days. I had gone there three times since my return of Granby, but without really seeing them. I think that the gloomy weather of the last days is there for something. I even had fears that they left their den. I was relieved to see them finally. 3 hours of waiting for 15 minutes of happiness.
As you can note it on the photograph, they grows quickly.
This morning, my happiness was as large as the first time that I saw them 27 days ago. It has equal only my joy of sharing them with you.

Thank you for looking. I wish you to fall (to go up) in love with your subjects.

Hi Luc
Looks like they missed you as well and came to say 'hello' and at the same time pose for a quick shot.
You are right, they (the young ones) grow so quickly and the next moment they're out of the den, having a family of their own somewhere else.
I do admire your persistence (staying power) for waiting 3 hours while the wind and the cold must have been rather unpleasant. Although you do say it was sunny I can not see myself doing this in -1C. The winters, here in Zululand, might go as low as +15C and then it is too COLD for outdoors activities.
Very well done and TFS.

Luc, I also have "named" a few of my subjects .. how are you getting so close? The little one is curious ... mamma is apprehencive .. well captured... great POV ..
well Taken...

Nicely done! I like how you werer able to center the two foxes between the stump behind them. They certainly do look inquisitive.

Great catch and subject, Luc! Especially I like the little one and how they look at you.

Concerning the backpain - I would advise you not to sleep on a hard surface, if you do it for your back, it is a common mistake, that makes it worse; sleep on a soft one!

Ahhh.... to see my Little Prince again... is happiness indeed. : )
Thank you for your persistence so that you can share a glimpse of the growing cub with us.
The big eyes on the little one show such youthful inquisitiveness.
Lucy, on the other hand, looks a bit reproachful... "Where have you been?"
A wonderful shot. : )

Bonjour mon ami, I am so happy to see Lucy and kid again. And they are looking right at you, thanking you for being so patient waiting for them to arise. The little one is losing her baby look with a thinner face. And mama has her ears back looking and listening at the same time.
Just superbe,

Hi Luc, excellent details on these fox again, Perfect colors, BG, DOF, POV, TFS kyle

Hi Luc,

Salut Luc,
the little one is growing up fast, he seems to be more aware of you than in the previous shots. A sign of good parenting ;-), Lucy is doing a great job. Beautifully captured, they posed so nice for you and made excellent eye contact. Light, color and details are wonderful.

Hi Loc
well captured again. Good sharpnes and details.
Well done

Excellent composition, colors and details.
Good POV and BG.

Hi Luc! What a wonderful series, how marvellous you have had the opportunity, and the patience!!! Love this one, the wide eyed innocence of the young one, the wary eyes of the parent; alas, that is life trying to deal with the human factor, isn't it? Great DOF throughout the whole scene, love the earth tones and the poses as well. Superlative! Linda

Bonjour Luc,
