| Intro: | I have taken photos since my teenage years - in the 1960s - and over the course of time have travelled considerable - mainly in my role as tour leader internationally or driver/guide in New Zealand. I was lucky enough to begin my tour leading work on the Overland routes between Kathmandu & London in the late 1970s & later on led Camel Safaris in Rajasthan, & special interest tours in Kashmir, Ladakh, Turkey, Jordan, Tunisia, Nepal & Sikkim. For the last 25 years I have worked mainly in my native New Zealand and also in some of the South Pacific Islands & am currently working in the Chatham Islands - about as far from Europe as you can get. I have been with TrekEarth since July 2012 & have enjoyed showing my own photos as well as viewing other members pictures. I have a large number of nature photos to share, so feel it is time to join Treknature. | |
