Hi Trekkers,
Although the bitter oyster (Panellus stipticus (Bull.) P. Karst.) is a common species in the temperate zone of Europe, it was missing from my gallery as I never managed to photograph it on the level I wished. Now I hope yesterday I did.

Photo was shot in Glenshelane Forest, in the canyon of the river Glenafallia, in mixed forest, on dead birch (Betula pendula). ISO 125, f/5.6, 1/20 sec., handheld, in manual exposure mode and with manual white balance. PP: slight level adjustment, re-sharpening after re-sizing to the TN standard.

Thanks for looking.
