Panther Chameleon(Furcifer pardalis)

The chameleons ability to change color is one of the most eventful moments to witness in the animal kingdom as it changes from a normal plain color that usually matches its surrounding environment to a multitude of colors in seconds to either impress a female or ward off a possible rival. The chameleon has chromatic pigmented cells that allows it to change color at will. Most people believe that chameleons change color to camouflage into the environment which is hardly true however they can thermal regulate their body temperature using either dark or light color skin changes to compensate for cold or hot conditions.
