Congrats on introducing a new species of fungus on TN. This is a very fine shot in very good sharpness and details. Very good contrast with greenish BG; dried up leaves and a sort of warm light are adding beauty here. Thanks for sharing,

Hello Laszlo, Congratulations on a TN first!
Your first post of 2015 turns out to be a beauty. I really like the very low POV you managed to capture and the colors are well saturated yet natural. I'm sure you had to be lying on your stomach to achieve such a nice angle.
I love the lighting, especially on the cap. There is just enough shadow to give it DOF and an almost 3D effect. The tiny bit of leaf litter and soil on it's top makes it appear to have just popped up. Excellent focus and just the right amount of exposure. Great shot!!

A great macro of this fungi, the low POV at the subject's level
that you choose with the framing, with the lateral light
coming to the subject and the subject's gold color tones
are the beauty of this photo, TFS
