Hi Matthew.
This is a beautifully layered image ("layered" in the compositional sense, not Photoshop :)
I'd like to see a version with the central shadow slightly less dense, for comparison, but I suspect the almost full-black shadow as you have choses will be the better option.

Wooo, what a super composition Matthew. The colours and shadows are stunning. Nice and sharp too. I like it how the different layers of rock change their colours. Very well done.

Very strong, well composed, dramatic image. A bit oversharpened IMO.
