[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took this shot a couple of years ago and when I was first starting out with photography. Some form of Amanita, I believe(somebody will know).

Anyway, it was dark and deep in the forest and not a great shot .... but 100% natural and I think it a somewhat worthy and symbolic presentation on this date ,,, hehe!

Beautiful capture and a good title! :-) Excellent composition, light management and color saturation. About the ID: this isn't an Amanita but a Russula, most probably a species from the Russula emetica group (R. emetica, R. silvestris, R. betularum or R. nobilis). Microscopic analysation needs for further ID specification.
