[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
My upload for today is a pair of Green Tiger Beetles (Cicindela campestris). Like most beetles of this family they have excellent eyesight, and getting close to them can be tricky as they rapidly fly away from any perceived threat. The larvae live in burrows where they grab and eat other invertebrate prey.

Kind Regards

Vinny www.vincentblood.com

Splendid work, congratulations!

A perfectly captured couple in their natural element Vinny, the chosen DOF is just right for a sharp focus and the metallic colours were rendered very nicely, TFS indeed!

Hello Vinny,
Great capture of this fantastic pair of Green Tiger Beetles, with very good colours and naturel environement. Not an easy shot because they fly so fast! Well done. Cheers,
