Hllo Jusni !
What an impressive bird ! I love his proud pose and his vivid colors, must have been great to watch him. I also like how the picture is composed, with the tree framing the picture on two sides and lots of space around the bird. excellent details, too. Very well done !

EXcellent pose - nicely framed against an OFF BG. Good detail too.
A fine capture of a White-breasted Kingfisher, a species that I am very fond of.
The POV and composition against the grey neutral BG while it is on the look out on the top of a bush is great, even though the colours are a little over-saturated.
Thanks and kind regards,

Indeed, the colours in front of the photo are a bit oversaturated, but nevertheless a very beautiful photo in good sharpness, composition and OOF BG.

You've captured a very colourful Kingfisher. He has quite the large beak, I guess it means business. Excellent DOF and composition.

Fantastic beautifulness of the bird. Pictured scene is amazing at whole. Bushes, their sharpness and colourfulness look greatly against the neutral smooth BG. Composition of the shot is also spot on. My warm greetings and TFS.

It's incredible how colourful it is, and you managed to get the photo done quick enough before it was gone, good timing.
Perhaps the pic its a little over contrasted, you can see a too defined band along the transition between the white at the top and the rest of the background.
Well done and thanks for share.

this is shot seems a bit saturated but i would say it is the special effect of the morning light as the leaves in the bush are natural. Quite interesting to note the outcome.
I really like the shot with such a simple composition giving an air of freedom to the bird on the front.
Thanks also for mentioning my name in your production. As I always realise bird photography is so difficult for me.
To me this is a good success for a very sensitive bird like King Fisher.
Thaks for sharing such a lively view.

you nicely captured it roosting on green leaved branches and against blurred BG of trees. focus, colors and composition very nice. also OOF/DOF superb.
as you wrote to Foozi's post, its scientific names "smyrnensis" from Izmir (Smyrna), namely Izmir's Kingfisher; since it described firstly from there which this big city is located in Westernmost Turkiye. Unfortunately we cant see it in Izmir for last two decades. But it is found commonly in southern Turkiye.
many thanks for sharing this beauty.
best regards. wasalams
