Very nice capture Joanna. Very good dof to get all of the butterfly in focus. The colours are very natural and the tight composition is interesting but like Martine I find it a little dark - Martine's WS is better.

Psycho eyes and long sucker ;-) Very common butterfly in our neighbourhood. Quite nice but slightly annoing when it comes to capture it ;-) Very good photo with interesting POV and composition.

Hi Joanna, I hope you had a good weekend away. This White Cabbage Butterfly lives in NZ too. A pest in our vege gardens. The white of the flower show how un-white the butterfly really is. Excellent sharp capture, perfect focus, but I am sorry you cut off his wing and feeler. But well done.
