[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
this fungi was attached under a log, some 2km due west of cradle mountain lodge, in a forest full of wombats.
photo taken of the underside, it is jellyfish shaped, with a diameter of around 12-13cm.
the camera sat under the fungi. the canon pro1 has a swivel view screen, without which i would not have been able to shoot with any accuracy. why don't the big canon slr's also have swivel screens??

Very nice, the color, composition and depth are brilliant. Well done Perry!
Hi Perry,
Nice colorful shot of a very interesting subtropical specie belonging to Hymenochaetaceae family. It isn't easy to capture this red tone, but You've done it perfectly. Bravo.
Best regards from Hungary, László
