amazing my friend ... amazing. from now one you are in my favorites list. it's clear that you have talent and vision.

the species itself and the pose of this fly is fantastic. it's stay like it was turn it head and looking at the camera. the colors are wonderful. also the overexposed white flowers from the background are very nice.
nice simple frame. it keep the eye concentrated on the subject. and your usual technique with long shutter speeds and no flash give fantastic results.

Hello Leonid,
Again a superb macro from an interesting fly. In my region I also can see this Cylindromyia flies, they look very special. You seem to get up very early in the morning to take your wonderful shots. It's the best way to have the insects still asleep!
