Orbicular Jasper / Ocean Jasper from Madagascar

Lots of pictures of colorful birds, butterflies, beautifully shaped flowers or amazing
fishes of tropical seas can be found on the TN pages. Nature has also
created minerals incredible in it's forms and colors. This inspired me to
make few macro shots depicting this topic.

Hello Kris.
I missed your lovely spheres, this one is really nice, sometimes with this kind of patterns I wonder how "organic" and not mineral they look.
I had a new look at your collection and now I feel envy :)
I would love to have a look at it not only in the photos, really.
The deatails, lighting, exposure, everything is on the spot.
Best regards, Felipe.
Another planetoid-like mineral specimen shaped as a perfect sphere and illuminated expertly Kris, you are so good in this type of studio photography my friend.
Cheers,
Mehmet
Hi Chris,
A typical and nice subject you are upto. BTW please do mention how these spheres are formed and where do you find them. Are these available everywhere in earth. A lovely capture of this jasper stone. Excellent details and a lovely composition. Thanks a lot for sharing.
