|For quite a few years this nice python has hunted close to our home in the warmer months. She(?) spent many nights ambushing Green Tree Frogs from this position outside our bedroom. At other times she lies in wait for Fruit Bats and unsuspecting birds in the nearby Narrow Leafed Moreton Bay Figtree. She has designs on our cats I think. Lovely to have her around. She is now over 3m in length. She winters in our roof.|

I would be great if you could get a close up(Macro) picture of the head..
I really like this shot with the patterns of the snake which is curled around the gate contrasting so well with the stark white lines of the gate itself. And the distant mountain range.. lovely.
