Meerkat (Suricata suricatta).

The sound of the shutter from the previous shot ( which I have already published here ) alerted this young Meerkat to my presence. He/she identified the direction of the noise in an instant and shot her/his head around, instantly gazing right into my eye/lens.

Great catch of the alert Meerkat. Seems to have a non-plussed expression on its face. Your composition being off-centre on interesting base is excellent.
