[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Australia is a birdwatcher's paradise. It is full of beautifull and unique species found nowhere else on earth. The 'rainbow Lori Keet' might not be the biggest wxample of native australian parrots but it is definetelly the most colourfull and probably the loudest species on the continent.
I took this one from the veranda of a cabin at the Town of 1770 caravan park. It is a nice idea, to sit on the hill and watch the site, where James Cook landed back in 1770 as the first european to set his foot on land that is now called Queensland. Maybe on of the forefathers of this bird looked at him as courious as he looked at me and my camera.
Australia is such a great place for nature lovers!!!

I like the brilliant colors captured in the bird. The DOF works very well for enhancing the bird's beuty.

Thomas, nice shot! Great colours and atmosphere. I like it very much. Very well done!

Hello Thomas

Nice POV. They do have amazing coloured plumage. The light is good as is the OOF BG. The focus is a bit soft, but you have the catchlight in the eye. Well done. Thanks.
