[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
I took this shot of a Gray tree frog about an hour ago, 10:00 PM at night. The frog was croaking quite loudly in the back yard so I went to investigate. I found it sitting on a black tarp which was covering my daughters swimming pool for the winter months.
I could hear a few more frogs sounding off in the woods, this didn't surprise me since it is their mating season. Gray tree frogs will readily change their color depending on their surroundings. I have never seen one this color before, but then this is the first one I've spotted at night. |
