Esta mariposa me sorprendió por su parecido a la P. Machaón que tenemos en España.
Posaba en unas zarzas y tuve la oportunidad de fotografiarla.

They who tried this may know the hazard, how much patience this need and it is well composed and exposed, beautiful click.
Hola José,
Papilio, not Papilus, however, the image itself is excellent. The semi-diagonal composition's very elegant, with perfect sharpness and wonderful sunny colors. It's always interesting to see animals (or plants), which are quite similar to the ones we know well (like Papilio machaon in this case), but are a little bit different from them as well. So, a very worthy, useful and educational post. Congratulations!
Kind regards from Ireland, László

Hi Jose, great summer memory with this rare subspecies of Papilio family that i never seen before.A very perfect one with the long tails and bright colors. A perfect capture with fine details everywhere despite the diagonal perspective. Have a nice weekend and thanks,Luciano
A beautiful capture with fine details and colors on the open wings, Jose.
