Cuculus canorus is now becoming rarer in my country but I see it every year. I would very much like to take a good photo of it like this female you took in flight. Excellent POV, timing, sharpness and colours in a fine composition against a clear sky.

Impressive in-flight picture. Wingspread is amazing and direct of sunlight is great for exposure and show feathers and colouration of the bird. Timing is superb. You managed to freeze this beautiful bird perfectly. Well done and TFS.
