[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A slightly deceptive picture in that the spider's body is only about 8mm long, so the picture makes it look somewhat larger.

This one was sunning on a nettle leaf and unusually stayed there while I got close with the lens plus a 13mm extension tube behind the lens.

Its' true that , being so close, you lost some DOF, but what is in focus is superb ! Wonderful details on this female nursery spider, Pisaura mirabilis. Excellent job.

Very good macro Norman.
You handle the ext.tube very well.
Good sharpness where it counts, nice colours and composition.
Very good work.

I'm surprised Paul hasn't seen this one yet, he'll love it. I nicknamed him Spiderman, go and see why, "PDP"
Excelent view and well done on this capture.

Great shot and clear. Was it handheld? I feel the framing is too heavy though. Otherwise very good.

Belle et intéressante composition pour cette impressionnante araignée. Jolies couleurs.
Well done.

I tremble of envy :-)

Nice work!! The cropping is just perfect and the transleucent frame is very clever too. 8mm means you must have been quite close to it. Wow!! Was it poisonous?
