Orange and Black

[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
A great orange and black insect I managed to snap before it moved on. I have no idea on the species of this fella so any help in identifying will be greatly appreciated.
Taken with a shaky monopod and a 2x extension so DoF a bit shallow. He had taken off before I could adjust the settings. |

Hi Mozwik,
you got a very well captured Athalia rosae (L.) here, a small Sawfly. Tenthredinids are difficult to ID, I check with https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Species_of_Tenthredinidae. Thanks for participating on TN.
Best regards, Dietrich
