The is a small Common Hepatica, liverwort.A very common spring flower.
But the spring has stopped and the winter seems to coming back, look at this small flower, very frosty.:-)
I hope it get warmer soon or I return to Cyprus. :-)
The picture is Taken with my new toys.

Some info about the flower from Wikipedia

Anemone hepatica grows 5–15 cm (2–6 in) high. Leaves and flowers emerge directly from the rhizome, not from a stem above ground.

The leaves have three lobes and are fleshy and hairless, 7–9 cm (2.8–3.5 in) wide and 5–6 cm (2.0–2.4 in) long. The upper side is dark green with whitish stripes and the lower side is violet or reddish-brown. Leaves emerge during or after flowering and remain green through winter.

The flowers are blue, purple, pink, or white and appear in winter or spring. They have five to ten oval showy sepals and three green bracts.

An excellent macro with such fine details, colors & sharpness. Nicely done & TFS.

Best wishes !

hi Gert,
good presentation of this blue-beauty. good clarity and excellent sharpness... the surrounding had every possibility to dominate the subject here and hence creating noise, but the angle chosen, use of light and DOF have helped the purpose survive.
that's good.

Hi Gert.
My congratulations on purchasing of a new camera and new amazing pictures taken with its help. I hope you will find few free minutes and share your impressions from A77. First of all I am interested for noise and different bugs on camera operation.

Shared image is amazing in all respects: subject is sweet, DOF is great. I love colours of the flower and surroundings and brilliant exposure. Well done and warm regards.
