[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Hi Trekkers,
Although I missed the 1st sunrise of the new year (as the weather was mostly cloudy on New Year's Day), late afternoon it seems I was at the right place at the right time. This is how the first after-sunset / blue hour scene of 2020 looked like from Ballycotton village, from the shore of the Atlantic Ocean. During the sunset we were at the beach next to one of the neighbouring villages, Garryvoe - please have a look at the workshop photo shot half an hour earlier than this one.
Photo: taken in the blue hour (16:55 local time), with ISO 80, f/6.3, 1/25 sec. and manual white balance, in manual exposure mode. |

Hi Laszlo, isn't usual to open the new year with a sunset,a metaphore perfect for the last day of the year, but i know why reading your note. So,2 beautiful shots about the the sunset of 1st January, beautiful red one as the main pic, while the WS is more dark and cloudy,2 perfect pics very well exposed to take the best of the moments. Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano
Both images have the artistic appeal.
