What a gala beginning to the spring season with this fantastic swath of lovely wild flowers, Edith!
A feast to the eyes, sincerely.
Never mind the OOF ones in the foreground; the ones in the centre are a delight to watch.

Bonsoir Edith
Amicalement Robi

Hi Edith, wonderful field full of flowers with splendid colors, very well done, brava, ciao Silvio

Hello Edith a lovely shot with interesting colours good sharpness its well composed tfs rgds, Necip

Merci,
Claudine

Bonjour Edith,
For the SPRING colours alone , which made my heart leap I have to give a BIG SMILE...
To be terribly honest I do prefer to see a photo where the f/g is not intrusive...
A lil bit OoF is acceptable, but it should not become distracting. I wouyld prefer the reverse: focus the f/g and fade out thru the m/g to a blurred b/g...

But thank you again for the gay bouquet! Is this a meadow?
Marvellous.

PS What is "cuckoo has you"?

Hi Edith,

Beautiful colours, including that deep rich green. I think blurring the foreground can work well but only when the main subject or focus of the image is not in the foreground. I hope that makes sense. Here I find my eye is led to the flowers at the bottom of the frame because they are the biggest in the image, so I don't think it really works to have them out of focus.

It looks like light was low for you so using a smaller aperture was probably not an option (unless you have a tripod). It's still a nice shot capturing some of nature's wonderful colours.

I hope you don't think I'm being negative, I'm just trying to help with my limited knowledge :- )

Best regards,
Adrian

you chose the middle focal length and so opened out the scene a bit..your shot is natural and not to 'photographic' with immense dof and too much details
i like it for its overall impression and limitless interest
cheers

Hi Edit,
