Bonjour Edith,
You have made a very beautiful portrait of this Swallowtail butterfly. The composition and colours are absolutely first class, with impressive depth of field (f/14.0 = good) and a nice frame. I especially like the wonderful blue on the margins of the hindwings. Although I think we can all say what the species is, a few notes about the location and any post-processing would be even better. Thanks.

What a wonderful save for posting today. While it shows the butterfly so well, it still retains a nice quiet, not too harsh, way about it. A pleasant photo...and the snows flies outside my window one more day...

permets moi d'insister mais il va vraiment falloir que tu traites les parties bruitées du BG,surtout si tu veux les faire developper en 20x30!!!
va donc falloir que je me deplace encore.
bon sinon c'est vrai qu'il est beau et bien mis en valeur.

Hi Edith.
You managed to catch a very nice specimen of Swallowtail at great scenery. I also like the composition and framing of the image. Details and colours are perfect too. May be some parts of the butterfly image are soft a little bit but it is not a point. My compliments and TFS.
