No no, I am not dead, and after fifteen days of absence, I am again!
No time to devote or a dissemination has taken no or very little, occasionally.
For my return, nothing terrible!
The archives are used well, it allows me to present you this strange moth which I did not find the identity, but I do not do not worry!! Yes indeed, there is a soul charity which looks for me.
This butterfly was laid on a straw chair and made me EYES OF BIG! That's why I chose here because I find impressive, in the head.
And you, you also fear it ?????
Thank you for your comments.

here grace has my FRIEND CICENDELA whom I thank, I think that he is right by saying to me that it is CAJA ARTICA (ARTIEDAE)

gracious, JoseMiguel, eqshannon, Alex99, ridvan, SelenE, jrobertop, haraprasan, uleko, Necipp has marked this note useful

I am not sure (because of POV) but I would say that this is Arctia caja (Arctiidae) (you can compare it with individual from my photo here).
Nice clouse-up and low POV make this picture very funny :) I like also colouration and details.

Bien belle macro... Je ne sais pas l'identifier, mais c'est vrai qu'il est impressionnant : c'est sans doute la prise de face qui y fait !

Hello Edith,
I'd say it is a Garden Tiger Moth.
Funny POV that adds great humour to the shot.
Good sharpness.
Well done,

These pictures are for me, lessons which I shall try to put into effect when winter is gone. I am becoming a bit more agile and although I have seen these types I was not able to capture. Fine earth tones...

Hello and Seasons Greeting Edith.
Wow, this moth sure has large eyes. I wonder if it's because he flies a lot during the night. Very sharp detail and rich colours. Nicely composed and framed.

Merci,

Hi Edith,
A very nice front POV capture of tis beautiful moth. Very good composition with good details. Thanks a lot for sharing.

bonjour edith
mouais,le choix de reglages etait bon mais je pense qu'un pov different aurait été preferable,un peu plus de coté par exemple.
la tête est net mais l'image n'est pas facile a "lire".
