I believe this is Russula pseudointegra (please correct me if I'm wrong!)
These beautiful mushrooms with their bright colours got my attention when walking in the woods.
Can't wait for the coming autumn to photo more of these mushrooms!

Taken under low light -> long exposure.
Cropped, Added contrast and sharpened.

Excellent capture with great sharpness, colours, DOF and POV. The bed of green moss really sets off these red mushrooms very well indeed. Good use of the long exposure.
With a subject such as this I'd probably have been tempted to "clean" a bit around the subject by taking out the two dry twigs and maybe also by cropping away the green stem between them (if I had a pair of scissors handy, that is ;-))

A nice photo. I like this contrasting red colour of this mushrooms. Nice POV.

I would this one more if there were less greenish leaves instead of excess of them here and removed those dried branches.

Lovely lovely photo of mushrooms. The contrast between red of the mushrooms and green of the moss makes this image really nice and fresh. I love it.

Very attractive fungi and well composed and exposed. Good job.

Waouh ! Très belle et intéressante composition macro-photographique bien réalisée pour ces magnifiques champignons. Très jolies couleurs, bon point de vue et bonne netteté.
WONDERFUL, interesting & very well done shot !!! Congratulations !

Appear of nice clean red Russula excellent lighting good POV. I don't consider 6 seconds very long, I take many photos between 15 and 30 seconds.

Very brilliant and vivid colors! I love the bright red against all that dark green. I don't think you can eat this variety, but then I wouldn't know, so I just don't eat any mushrooms I find. Very well done photo.

Hi Shir,
Nice colors. Nice shot.

Hello Shir,

A superb image, beautiful colors, sharp focus and you've picked a couple specimens that are in the perfect setting, the surrounding plants are the perfect frame for them.

A few years ago, a friend and I collected some specimens of this species here in the US, they were identified by the late Russula specialist Ray Fatto, first time this species was documented from the Americas. It's fairly common in the forests near my home.
