Eyelash Viper (Bothriechis schlegelii ) Costa Rica.
Careful were you walk while in the rainforest of Central America. These beauties come in an assortment of colors, while this one in the image is bright yellow there are ones that have very cryptic coloration that allows them to blend in efficiently. They hang around on low lying foliage where one can brush up against one by accident. |
