A lovely capture of this nymph , its difficult to capture this total white butterfly , but u have managed not to only to capture the beauty but also managed to get sharpness and BG.

That is one big butterfly... Good wing display. Interesting and informative note.

your pictures shows 2 very different butterflies. I think the upper one is also worth to be mentioned.
While I. leuconoe is a slow gliding species, Parthenos sylvia (resting above) is a fast and strong flier which, however, can also be observed gliding slowly along forest edges.
The large leuconoe is shown with pretty good sharpness nearly on the entire wing surface.
Best wishes, Peter

I like your colourful shot of two wonderful butterflies and beautiful flowers. Amazing wingspread of both insects, great colour and details reproduction of the entire image, very nice composition, framing and POV. Well done and best regards.

Stunningly beautiful image of two butterflies, Manyee. Of course, you are referring to the bigger one here, but the other one is also very interesting.
The subject is captured in perfect detail atop the red leaf which serves as the most apt BG.
Thanks for your kind critique on my Jay picture.

Excellent color and exposure Manyee.
I think the reds of the flower, and the dark BG really show off the rice paper nicely :)
The second smaller b-fly gives a sense of this b-flies large size too..

veramente bella e imponente questa farfalla!
Una foto magnifica: mi piace soprattutto come risalta il colore bianco e nero delle ali sullo sfondo.

This is very interesting to see the difference between those two species. This Rice Paper is so beautiful, very delicate and looks so fragile. I like those excellent details you captured, great exposure and DOF. TOnes of clors are bright and well saturated. Well done! Thanks,

I'd say, relatively speaking, that is a BIG butterfly. It is interesting that with so much potential color in that sanctuary, your shot is mostly red, white and black. I am impressed with how many different butterflies you were able to shoot there.

Well you like the cranes, and I wish I could see more butterflies.
You have a brilliant composition with these being encompassed by the red flowers.
Thanks for your view and comment.
Sorry I have been so absent.

The black and white contrasty wings look incredible especially on the red background. The composition is nice and you filled in the frame with very nice results. TFS. :)
