Hi Nandu,

Welcome to TrekNature most importantly. Your debut image should have been quite spectacular... but unfortunately you didn't work enough on the lay-out. First of all the bird is too closed to the edge of the frame, there isn't enough space behind his back. Secondly, your subject is not sharp enough (focus seems soft). Thirdly, you placed silly watermarks on to unsuitable places, one even crossing the bird's body, quite destructing, while the other is also on the busy right side instead of trying to reach a complimentary subject effect at the top left corner, in the direction of the bird's sight. The sharpness problem may be solved by using the free demo of the software Neat Image (useful as a module of Photoshop also), which helps to sharpen your subject. If you fail in the nature and your composition is unbalanced, probably you can save the image (at least of this kind) with a vertical crop. At least this is a photo which worth saving in my opinion.
