Yellow-Billed Duck
 |
|
[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
I have captured this 'Yellow Billed Duck' (Anas undulata) at Marievale Bird Sanctuary, early in the morning.
This dabbling Duck s an abundant resident breeder in easter and southern Africa. This highly gregarious bird isn't migratory but will wander in dry season to find suitable water. |

Hello Srikumar,
A new bird for me and what a beautiful one at that. No doubt about how it obtained its name with that brightly colored yellow bill. The focus is razor sharp displaying exceptional detail and your exposure is just perfect.

Hello Srikumar,
This is the range and background in which the photos are always excellent. The contrast between the bird and the water and the wonderful morning light makes a superb photo.

Hi Srikumar, "easy pic" because the slow duck and the perfect light, but the result is the best as possible, bright colors, fine details and lovely reflections,i like the perfect symmetry too. Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano
Hello Srikumar
Beautifully sharp and unclusterd, this is a fine portrait of this duck, so different from our common mallard in our parts. The reflection in the water is a nice touch too.
have a great day
Daniel
Hi Srikumar,
Simplistic yet fantastic photo, with lovely reflection, and the yellow beak's even mesmerising. :-)
Kind regards from Ireland, László
Hi Srikumar,
I like the reflections on the water. The point of view is showing the details of the Yellow Billed duck. The light is giving good colors rendering. The sharpness is very good. Have a nice day.
