Bonjour Luciano,
Je viens de lire ton message et j‘ai vu des reportages sur l‘Italie en ces temps incertains. Je dois dire que cela nous interpelle tous à être vigilants et de rester chez nous. Un signe d‘espoir quand même que les mesures drastiques ont enfin un petit succès avec la baisse des infections.
Courage et patience. Chez nous la situation est aussi grave et nous ne sortons presque plus. Pas de photos donc, non plus.
Que ton Citron soit un présage d‘une nature qui retrouve son équilibre.

I envy you for having made it to Sattal and used your long lens for taking pictures like this, Biswarup. This is my dream bird I have heard so much in my childhood (but rarely seen) in my native place in the hills, and you have taken a very beautiful picture of it. The posture of the bird in call mode is fabulous!

This is male Purple Sunbird in non-mating season, Biswarup. The other guys guessing that it is a juvenile chick are wrong. In the non-breeding season, the male loses its uniform blue colour with the metallic sheen and turns patchy like this.
