Hi again John. Another beautiful study. We drove to Arthur's Pass (from Christchurch) last year--it's very impressive seeing where we were from this pov :)

Hi John. Beautiful photo. Unusually for such a shot, the composition is very strong with the central group of mountains standing separate from the surrounds. If the whole scene was covered with snow this would have been just another shot :)
What height were you at when you took this, and was it through a standard plane's window?

Hi Monika.
A lovely photo, it has the look and feel of deep, dark forest.
I'm interested in what sort of "russian lens" and camera you used here . . .

Hi Matthew.
This is a beautifully layered image ("layered" in the compositional sense, not Photoshop :)
I'd like to see a version with the central shadow slightly less dense, for comparison, but I suspect the almost full-black shadow as you have choses will be the better option.

Hi Joseph.
this is stunning, and a tad more original than the majority of sunsets/rises we see: the exposure is superb, setting off the sky to perfection.
Wonderful.

Hi Shir.
What a beautifully exposed image. And you are right, it certainly does "show nicely" the subject :)
The plane of optimum focus seems to be a few inches behind the clump of mushrooms?
But a stunning image all the same :)

Hi Stephen.
A great sea/landscape, with beautiful light very well captured. Your use of exposure-time is, imo thankfully, not overdone, allowing the movement of the waves to be captured (as against the artificial, featureless porridge moving water becomes if exposed for a very long time :)
Composition is very strong, and the note adds considerably to the mood of the image.
Very well done.

Hi Farid.
A great pic of Africa's most dangerous animal. Well timed, well captured.

Hi Lia. This is a superb photo--well exposed, great pov, beautifully cropped . . . shame about the translation :) . . . he is actually, in English, a King Vulture :)

Hi Cathy. Welllll, it's not _too_ bad technically :) Blown out highlights are probably the worst 'sin',and perhaps the cropping is a little unbalanced (too tight across the top) . . . but what a great pov :) This is such a refreshing change from the cliched view we so often see. Well done.
