the points are useful only if other peoples input can help you out in making a decision in the creation of a compilation of what could be considered your own best works,as friends and family are usually less critical about what one has to offer.
By the way your photos are outstanding and are much liked,as if you did not already know that. Have a good one. Oh before I forget your shot of the snowflake is wonderful. Bob
So precious and cute! Absolutly priceless, just like you my friend. I hope things are well with you. 2006 was a very tough year for me, but then it helps me to appreciate the other ones so much more. I'll always consider you the "Ambassador of Treknature" in my mind. Always offering a friendly welcome to new comers to the site, in addition to your pictures that were so often a cut above the rest. Knowing you, I think I can now honestly say I've met at least one real gentleman in this life. You are missed my friend. I hope your seas are smooth with a pleasant wind at your back!
C'est comme une récompense cette photo ! J'ai tenté d'approcher ces petites cochonnes de marmottes sur l'ïle st Hélène l'été dernier mais il y avait foule...ta photo est un peu ce que j'aurais aimé réaliser. bien joué !
Very good close-up of this cute little fellow! The pose and the way he holds his hands make it look like a studio photography of a human (female) subject. Nice comparision with Monalisa. :) I like the colors, details and sharpness but at f/3.5 I expected a much shallower DOF. Even at this apperture there is no fall-off in the sharpness on the racoon's body. However, the subject is very well isolated from the BG and draws attention. Eye contact is also great and so is the catchlight in the eyes. It was a good ideea to fire the flash during exposure! A great post with a good note! Well done! Thanks!
Fantastique Bravo ! J'aime beaucoup tes photos ! Contacte ton voisin aussi pationné : http://www.flickr.com/photos/jelrdanjou/

Very nice photo.
He is very cute. The detail on him is very good.
You never really leave a place (TN) or person you love, part of them you take with you, leaving a part of yourself behind.
I will be looking for your next shot...
Absolutely magical Luc - a frozen moment in time, so perfectly captured. Exposure, DOF, sharpness, composition, colour, POV and comment, all brilliant and totally harmonious!
Your lens certainly reflects your words. Thanks Luc
Hello Luc! I think you woke him up! Very illustrative example of camoflauge, wonderful how he seems to be growing out of the tree! Great pose, well done! Linda
Oiseau très commun...mais une photo superbe sous un bel éclairage, Bravo !
